HOTSPOTS

When tracking behaviors, (money, tokens in Standard Edition) and (Incidents in Deluxe Edition), we refer to the colored dot as a ‘hotspot’. The hotspot tracks how many times each behavior, for example has occurred.

Basics of Hotspots

·        When placing the cursor over a tracked hotspot, a balloon is displayed with specific information.

·        To delete a hotspot, place the cursor over the hotspot and press ‘delete’ on the keyboard, or click once on the hotspot and select 'Remove.'

·        Double click to automatically enter a hotspot (except for in the Incident Sheet in the Deluxe Edition).

·        Click once to attach a note and/or change its value.

·        Multiple hotspots can be tracked for the same occurrence (behavior) on the same date.

·        Expected Behaviors can be automatically tracked for the entire week. This can be achieved by double clicking on a specific Expected Behavior's ‘Total’ in the far right hand column. By double clicking on an Expected Behavior's ‘Total’, each day for the week is tracked with a Hotspot automatically. This can only be done for Expected Behaviors in the Points Sheet.

·        (Deluxe Edition)When a hotspot has an asterisk symbol, it’s not the original Hotspot and cannot be edited or removed. The original Hotspot tracked in a previous week is the only way Hotspots with asterisks can be edited or removed. Hotspots with asterisks are only relevant in the Incidents Sheet where an incident may have a consequence that is in effect for several weeks. A Hotspot with an asterisk shows that a consequence is still in effect from an incident that occurred and was tracked in a previous week.
